Charley Born June 17, 2005. Charley is Weimaraner Lab cross with a thick Labrador like winter coat, a wonderful temperament and he has had early training as a sled dog. His colour is black. His coat thickens in the winter and it becomes sleek in the summer. Call it a very dark charcoal colour but most would just see black. Charlie is quite large at about 90 pounds and may grow to 100 lbs. His chest is deep, his legs are long and he is very fast and very strong. As he matures he is developing the body of a real athlete. His head is large and his facial structure and nose is more Weimaraner than lab. Charlie's temperament is gentle and loving and despite his strength, he is easy to handle, willing to please and obedient. Charlie is the gentle giant of our dogs. He has been walked on a leash a little but has spent more time in harness. He seeks out company and likes to play, run and hunt. He has a retriever’s instinct as his father and mother both have that. He is larger than his father who is a pure bread Weimaraner and he is larger than his mother Annie who is also a Weimaraner Lab mix.I rotate all of the dogs from pen to house to train and socialize them.
