Callie is a full silver grey Weimaraner and is the daughter of Misty and Duke. Callie is full of energy and fun. She never stops running and playing. Callie is a smiler!. She attempts to smile so well, she looks like she is in pain. Its quite endearing. She saves her smiles for first greetings in the morning or after returning from a little walk-about or to acknowldege being scolded. Callie is a smaller dog weighing about 65 lbs but is capable of producing large puppies. Puppies that we have kept from Callie and Duke are Tylene 85 lbs and Jaywa 80kbs, both are very large dogs and were born in Dec. 2008.

Duke - 06

Duke is a full Weimaraner and is the father of BBF females Tyleen, Sabrina, Jaywa. He is also the father of Oscar, all born in Dec. 2008. Duke is a large, big boned, 95lb Weimaraner with a big heart. He loves to play and be part of every thing going on. His bark is deep and powerful but his nature is fun loving and gentle. His characteristics have been passed on to his offspring who are also large dogs with the same temperament. He is an intimidating dog because of his size and deep bark but its all in fun and he is a wonderful playmate Tyleen is the largest of his puppies and almost a splitting image of her father in size, looks and character.

Annie - 02

Annie is our first GBSD. She is 85 lbs. Her mother was a grey Weim and her dad is a large Labrador. Annie is the most gentle of dogs. Here she is shown with Weimaraner Chief. Annie is playful but obedient and tries hard to please. She was raised with our child from the time he was two years old. Annie is the mother of many of our GBSD litters. Annie was retired in 2008. Annie is a quiet calm very gentle dog but will chase bears at first sight and charges them without hesitation. See Annie's Photos.

Misty

Misty, a full Weimaraner is a great retriever, hunter and wonderful companion. She arrived from the city early in 2006 with some behavioral and hyper activity problems which the freedom of the forest and unlimited exercise soon cured without any intervention from us. Misty, a full Weimaraner born 2005, is a natural water dog. Misty is the mother of BBF Full Weimaraner, Kallie born April 2007, sired by Weimaraner, Chief.

Misty is very gregarious, very obedient, very strong and a wonderful companion. She has a playful and mischievous streak that makes her a joy to be around. Her genes will contribute great qualities to the GBSD line. Photo Gallery

Chloe - Mist Grey at 16 weeks.

Chloe is a perfect example of a Georgian Bay Sporting Dog, a Weimaraner Lab Cross with a deep voice and a sweet temperament. ( Click photo at right to view album photos. ) Her mother is Annie, her father is Chief. She plays with our six year old son. Chloe is gentle, sociable and very energetic. Her legs are long, her color is a typical Weimaraner mist grey and her body configuration is almost perfect Weimaraner with the necessary Labrador elements added that make her a Georgian Bay Sporting Dog, a longer winter coat and perhaps a slightly heavier frame. Chloe will grow to become a 70 to 80 pound dog, and is already conditioned to react to the presence of bears. Photos.

I recently met a brother of Charley who was born in 2003 who was brought back for a visit. He has grown to just over 100 lbs., very athletic in build - not over weight. Other photos of Charlie

Charley is still a puppy at heart. Photo taken at one year of age.

Penny 2004 - A Gentle Sweetheart

(Penny) Grey Female - Born 2004.

Penny is my turning sled dog. She is harnessed closest to the sled. When the dogs turn, its Penny's job to turn the sleigh so the dog sled makes it around a forest trail at high speed and we don't go into the trees!

Penny is a particularly gentle, quiet and loving dog. However, when she is with the other dogs she instigates play and is mischievous. Despite her gentleness, Penny has a protective instinct and one time she threatened, and nearly attacked another dog she thought was being aggressive towards me. I was able to stop her in time.

Oscar 2005 - The Littlest Puppy That Grew Up

Oscar was so tiny we did not attempt to sell him as a puppy. One day we realized that he had finally grown up into a large, strong, normal sized, magnificent dog. He now lives near King City, north of Toronto on a large country property. From Annie and Chief, 2006.

Oscar now lives north of Markham on a country estate with owner Beth N. Visit Oscar's Page.

Subject: Hello Brien

I hope all is well with you. I thought I'd give you an update on Oscar and send some pictures!

He's been wonderful! He's so smart and has become the center of attention in the family. Every morning he carries my daughter's backpack to the end of the driveway to wait for the bus and is there to carry it back when she gets home.

He's now used to our property and stays close to where we are when we're playing outside. He and I have our time together walking through the woods nearby and he loves it! He also loves the sprinkler and he and my daughter will run through it together.

He is an amazing part of the family and we all adore him! I want to thank you again for bringing him into our lives Brien.

Pictures attached!

"Pointers, hounds and retrievers will run off to hunt because hunting is the most important thing in their lives; the Weimaraner stays with you when off leash because playing with you is the most wonderful activity it can share with the people it loves."

PRICING NOTICE
Descriptions and predictions of a puppy's temperament and physical characteristics when mature are based on our experience.
When a puppy matures its actual physical and character traits may differ.

Prices are subject to change without notice. Puppy values decline as puppies get older. Price reductions for unsold older puppies represent the value lost to an owner for not being able to raise and train a puppy from infancy. Price reductions for older puppies do not reflect a reduction in the quality of the puppies sold nor do lower values for older puppies reduce the value of the higher priced puppies sold for optimum adoption dates. Buying an older GBSD puppy is not really disadvantage. The Weimaraner breed is so naturally able to bond with its master and family, purchasing an older puppy at a discount has little or no effect on one’s ability to train or socialize the dog. Purchasing an older puppy will have no effect on the strength of the bond that will develop between the puppy and its family when your puppy is treated with love, care and attention. Older puppies are often house trained and have had all their vaccination shots.
