Hi Brien!

Don't know if you remember us... we bought a puppy (charcoal) born last April. Just wanted to let you know that she is doing wonderfully!! She is such an affectionate girl, and a great companion. She LOVES to cuddle, and she is hilarious! What a personality.

She passed puppy school last fall. She is extremally smart... when she wants to be! I noticed that she knows when you aren't using food to motivate her, and she thinks it isn't worth it. She could probably rope the moon if there was food involved.

You weren't kidding about the energy! haha She could run forever and come home and be ready to go again.

At the University of Guelph every year they have a big open house that involves a dog show. We entered both of our dogs in the show, which involved student volunteers training our dogs once a week for 8 weeks, and then the big show. The show was last weekend, and JB got third in her class! We were so proud. We were worried originally because she is very cautious of new places, but luckily the class was running behind and she had ample time to acclimitize (not so good for our other dog who has a limited attention span!). You should of seen her long stays, she didn't budge!

Anyhow, I am sending along some pictures for you and your family to see. Thanks again, we love her!

Price reductions for unsold older puppies represent the value lost to an owner for not being able to raise and train a puppy from infancy. Price reductions for older puppies do not reflect a reduction in the quality of the puppies sold nor do lower values for older puppies reduce the value of the higher priced puppies sold for optimum adoption dates.

In our experience, there is no disadvantage to adopting an older GBSD puppy. The Weimaraner breed is naturally able to bond with its master and family. In our experience purchasing an older puppy at a discount has little or no effect on one’s ability to train or socialize the dog. Purchasing an older puppy will not inhibit strength of the bond that will develop between you or your family and the puppy when treated with love, care and attention. Older puppies are often house trained and have had all their vaccination shots.
