Brien
Sorry I wasn't able to get back to you last week, off sick with a nasty cold...anyways, Finnigan is doing amazing, he has added so much to my family. He provides us hours of entertainment, and has be come quite the loyal running partner. He has quite a love for the outdoors, and loves going for days hikes up to our farm. I will send you a few pics some time this week.

Hi Brien
Finn is doing great, he has learned many tricks lately. He has the basics down, ie sit, up on the couch, go lay down, shake a paw. He's a pretty smart dog. He just finished his third week of puppy school and seems to be doing pretty well. The vet just loves him, he is a very warm and caring dog. I have included a picture of Melanie (my wife) and Finn the first week we had him. I will send you a more recent picture this week (he has gained 17 pounds in 5 weeks) he is just over 40 pounds now.

Subject: Finnigan made it home perfectly
Hi Brien
Just a quick email to say thanks for everything yesterday. The drive home was very smooth. We stopped a few times on 637 to let Finn out of the car, and to stretch ourselves (the 12 hours of hiking the last 2 days has made me pretty sore). We made a stop at the French River trading post and had some lunch and let Finn wander a little bit. He was so curious, wanted to get into everything. We then continued the trip home and stopped in Parry Sound to the Pet Valu there to get him a nwe collar, as my wife Melanie purchased an XL collar (10-16"), i ended up buying a medium. Again, Finn was little Mr. Adventure and wanted to just walk around everywhere. After a good stretch and bathroom break for us all we made the push home, Finn fell asleep under 30 seconds, as did my Brother. Last night was fun for me and Melanie. Finn cried when it was time for bed, I guess trying to get used to the cage. Since I am a sucker for that kind of stuff, I took him out of the cage, only for him to poop every where, all my Melanie and I could do was laugh and laugh. Anyways, after a midnight bath for the dog, and a shower for me, we both went downstairs and slept on the couch (hope he doesn't get used to it.)
Hope you had a good laugh at our little adventure yesterday, talk to you soon
