Jessie is a GBSD born in 2011

Hi Brien,

We are having a wonderful time with Jesse. She has really grown 66 lbs. now and she is almost 10 mon.I have had several people ask if she is part Dane as she is quite tall with long legs.

She is really gentle but very headstrong when walking, but we are working daily on that as well as a daily jaunt at a leash free park. We also go on leash free hikes with a group of people who trained with a Brad Patison certified trainer. Jesse is a handful but life would be very dull without her.

About Weimaraner Coat Colours.

Silver Grey = Light: Weimaraner grey is often called ‘silver grey’ and it is considered the most common and accepted Weimaraner coat colour. Silver grey the lighter Weimaraner colour.

Hi Brien,
I hope all is well with you and your canine friends.  Meeko is growing every day. We need to buy him a larger crate – he is outgoing his 36 ” x 28″ crate.  We had a quiet week a couple weeks ago when he had a bad cold (major runny nose & all) and needed to be on antibiotics. My family really fell in love with him then! lol

He loves to learn new things, likes to play with the other pups at puppy school, and he is improving walking on leash- good until the cats distract him by following us. Needless to say we are enjoying Meeko. We get many comments on how beautiful he is : )  Thanks again for all your patience and support.

Hello Brien,

It’s Sean and Alysha we have one of the puppies from Bonnie and Oscar’s June 2010 Litter.
We just wanted you to know that Henry is such a great puppy and he makes us both so very happy.  Everyone that meets him just falls in Love.  He is one large baby boy, he is a very lean and muscular 75lbs and still growing.  He loves going for walks (thank god for the Gentle Leader).  Henry has a great personality and such an amazing addition to our family.  Hope all is well with you and your family. I have attached some pics and descriptions with ages of Henry.

Hi Brien

I just want to update you on Barlow’s first night with us.
He did so great…….We cannot ask for a better dog than that.
He is so gentle with our cats….he is really curious about the cat…but always backs away when he sees the cat getting nervous around him…but he cannot help it to go to them and smell them…but he is very gentle with them.
His first night was AWESOME…..He is getting familiar with the house and he sure loves his bed we got him. We put his bed in the laundry room and put a gate at the door so he doesn’t roam around the house at night.
When we woke up this morning the laundry room was clean (no poop or pee) YEAAAHHHH!!!
I think that is a good sign on how he will be….keeping my fingers crossed.
I have attached a picture of him with our cat Tina….she cannot help it to be around Barlow… she is curious about that big beast!!

3rd Gen GBSD, (Weimarner / Lab mix)

Lady, our 2nd generation GBSD has 3rd generation puppies sired by Kingston, our 85  lb silver grey Weimaraner. Lady is a Weim / Lab mix with a touch of Golden Retriever in her genes to make her puppies ideal family dogs with an exceedingly soft coats of about 1/2 inch long, or less than half the length of a Lab’s coat. GBSD and Weims will not run away when off leash, making  them idea companions for joggers, walkers, hiking and exploring together.   The genes of the Lab and the Golden in our GBSD reduce (or sometimes eliminates) separation anxiety one might expect to find in a Weim.  One can spray wash and dry these dogs in about five minutes! Lady’s puppies will be tall, regal looking dogs with a Weim’s lean racy stature and bone structure and they will have the best attributes of  the Lab, the Golden and the Weim to make them remarkable and reliable family dogs.

 We’ve had lots of changes here and I will try to send you some updated pictures. We have a baby girl in our life now (14 months) and she has decided Scout is all hers.  They are adorable together. She even gives him his treat when he comes in from outside.
